SCEC is committed to protecting Sunshine Coast’s unique environment and lifestyle. For almost 30 years we have been leading the way to ensure our region has a sustainable future.

We have members from all over the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas representing a diverse range of community interests such as: landcare, permaculture, progress associations, wildlife groups, bushwalkers, surfers, hangliders, waterwatch groups, co-ops and schools. All these groups and individuals share a common concern for maintaining sustainability and environmental protection on the Sunshine Coast.

SCEC works with its members to ensure the environmental sustainability of the Sunshine Coast. Membership of SCEC supports SCEC and in turn, SCEC supports its members through information sharing and other collaboration. SCEC takes its role as a regional environmental body very seriously and is committed to working with all stakeholders.
