Currimundi Catchment Care Group Working Bee 14 Oct

Target: Our primary target is inch weed (callisia repens), a very invasive ground cover. We are aiming to prevent it crossing the pathway and entering this beautiful bushland area. Initially it had been considered that the weed was so prevalent it would need to be sprayed. Michael, our supporting Council Officer, believes that with one more working bee we will be able to remove this pest without need for spraying. Now that is a worthy goal!

RSVP required: please email our council Bushcare Coordinator council officer Michael Mills ([email protected]) to let us know you intend to come along. If we need to cancel due to insufficient numbers or for any other reason, we will let you know on Friday 8th September.
