Will you be attending?
Join us for breakfast and a morning bird survey in the Barung Seed Forest as part of the Aussie Backyard Bird Count with BirdLife Australia.
Eric Anderson will share tips on bird identification, how to be an effective birder and how to learn your bird species quickly, as well as some tips on bird photography!
We will then survey the Barung Seed Forest to see what species are using the emerging forest as habitat (a survey we are doing annually to capture the change over time). This data will then be uploaded into the Aussie Bird Count App.
You can then take these skills and continue your own surveying in your own backyard or favourite place in nature as part of the week-long BirdLife survey event. See more here.
A selection of pastries, fresh fruit, tea and coffee will be on offer. So bring a picnic blanket and join us for breakfast with the birds.
