Buderim: Healthy Forests = Healthy Us

How do forests make us healthy?

How can we make forests healthy?

Why are healthier people better for the planet?

Come together to celebrate forest and human health, experience and learn ways of taking care of our health in nature which can benefit Earth's health, and how healing country heals ourselves.

Featuring a variety of short workshops, walks and talks for children and adults by Sunshine Coast organisations at Foote Sanctuary in Buderim (on Kabi Kabi country).

This event is part of National Science Week 2023

Held Outside

Nature therapy is also called forest bathing and forest therapy. It is an intentional practice that helps relax the body and connects humans with nature.

In a guided nature therapy session, you will join a small group of people and be guided through an awakening of your senses that increases mindfulness and connection with the other-than-human world. Every session is different.
