Help us stand up for nature and climate
When you give generously today, you are helping to protect the Sunshine Coast's unique wildlife and natural wonders including our beloved marine turtles.
For 42 years, the Sunshine Coast Environment Council has been the voice for the Sunshine Coast environment. From the hinterlands to the coast, SCEC has helped gazette many of the region's iconic National Parks to protect their outstanding conservation values, stood-up for the magnificent Marcus High Dunes in the face of unrelenting development to form the critical and biodiversity rich Maroochy-Noosa Wallum Corridor and expand the Noosa National Park. Our work continues as we fight to protect Yaroomba.
Nature based solutions are critical to mitigating the effects of climate change and protecting remnant vegetation in bushland reserves, national parks, state forests and increasing urban wildlife corridors is a key focus of SCEC's work now and into the future.
We campaign for urgent action on climate change, marine conservation and protect nature by opposing inappropriate and ecologically destructive development. Our work and passion for this region and the planet continues unabated.
With your generous support, we will continue to be at the forefront of environmental advocacy for many years to come.
