e-Bulletin 28th March 2013

Welcome to the SCEC E-Bulletin

28th March 2013

Happy Easter to all! Please consider how you celebrate however, and follow some of the  tips below:

  • Remember rabbits are not a native to Australia, however Bilby's are, and when you buy a chocolate Bilby you will be donating to the 'Save the Bilby' fund.
  • If you must buy chocolate make sure it has the 'Fair Trade' logo on it that way you know it is sustainablly sourced, guide here
  • Look closely at the packaging: is it encased in foil, then hard plastic then cardboard, or more plastic? Less plastic is best, read why..
  • Hand make your own chocolates: this is always more meaningful, has less impacts and 'you know what's in it', here's how.

Feel free to email us with feedback, your opinions are important.
