World Environment Day 9th June @ the University of the Sunshine Coast from 10am- 4pmWell we are almost there and although its a mad house we are full of excitement (and hoping for a sunny day).

Congratulations to Greg McKean from Night Eyes Waterwatch & Landcare who has been recognised with the Healthy Waterways Volunteer of the Year Award for his commitment to reducing the waste ending up in our waterways by picking up  rubbish from streets, beaches and waterways and his leadership as the group's President. Fears on new solar system eased- but the debate's on- SC Daily 4/6

FEARS the Newman Government planned to introduce new charges for households with solar panels were eased by Minister for Energy Mark McArdle yesterday. But some change is still on the cards. Read more..
