It’s on again! The popular ecoflicks environmental film festival launched itself into the new year with a special screening at the Outrigger Theatrette in Noosa recently.
ecoflicks is a Noosa Integrated Catchment Association (NICA) initiative about “People with Passion Sharing a Vision”. It is a festival for the celebration of creative talent, with the vision to inspire environmental stewardship. Through short films, budding filmmakers captivate, inspire and enthuse viewers.
The festival gives people the opportunity to showcase their talent and to captivate members of the public with their messages.
ecoflicks aims to promote and encourage amateur film makers and nurture the film making industry on the Sunshine Coast while it also conveys the very important message of how we can better protect our natural environment. The festival is growing in popularity and quality each year, with commitments from sponsors for 2014 already in place.
