Florabunda Pocket BushCare Action Bee - September 2

Here are a couple of the birds snapped by Kel at Florabunda Pocket last month. They were among the  33 birds recorded on the site by Judy and Jan during our action bee last month. Some indication that we are doing some good with our habitat creation activities on the site. 
Next chance to join with us is next Saturday 02 September starting at 8am.
There was some thought we'd start earlier, but the weather is still cool in the morning, so we'll wait till October to start early, when the heater should really be on.
If you'd like to join in the exercise in the open air while doing some useful action for the environment, come in "long everything" bush protective clothing including boots/shoes and a hat. We'll have all the tools you need, but bringing your own favourites is good too. 
Access to the site is to come down Laidlaw Rd Woombye and turn right through the large mesh gate before the Gymnastics Hall entrance. Follow that road out toward the back Rugby Oval and you'll see us assembling.
We'll finish with a cuppa about 10 am.
Special for the day will be Sameer as our council coordinator, but Tim will be back next month.
