Unique Australian Marine Life
by Nigel Marsh
Isolated from the other continents for millions of years, Australia’s wildlife has developed in isolation to be unique.
The same is true for the country’s marine life, with the seas around Australia home to a wonderful variety of endemic species. Divers encounter aggregations of giant cuttlefish, highly camouflaged leafy seadragons, bizarre pineapplefish, creepy frogfish, carpet-like wobbegongs and many more fascinating marine creatures.
Brisbane based Nigel Marsh, an underwater photographer and photojournalist will share his underwater world. When not diving or travelling, Nigel teaches underwater photography and leads special photography tours to exotic dive destinations.
Everyone is welcome at the NPA Environment Centre to learn more about these amazing underwater creatures .
