Greater glider habitat research briefing - November 1
Queensland Conservation Council invites you to an online briefing by Griffith University's Dr Patrick Norman, lead researcher in a project that mapped likely core habitat for the endangered southern and central greater glider (Petauroides volans) across Queensland. It's the first time forest maturity has been mapped across the species' range in Queensland!
We now know forest structure across the state and have a good idea where the hollows are likely to be found.
This research is significant for the conservation of not only the greater glider but the native forests they depend on.
