Greenhide Reserve morning with Friends of the Forest
Friends of the Forest Inc. invite you to join us in our forest care project on the morning of Wednesday 21st July, 2021 at Greenhide Reserve, Linville.
We would really appreciate it if you could join us to help remove invasive weeds which are threatening the health of a small remnant forest area in between Moore and Linville.
Greenhide Reserve is home to some of our endemic flora & fauna species that need our assistance for their survival.
We are endeavouring to support this historically and ecologically significant area for future generations & have the positive support of Somerset Regional Council.
Friends of the Forest are a friendly group of nature lovers that welcome all ages and all abilities in our common aim to support our local native ecosystems.
Please bring your own gardening gloves,
hand trowel and garden fork. water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, long-sleeved shirt, trousers, boots or enclosed footwear and hat.
