Jacki has been working to protect our beautiful environment in Australia for over 10 years. Before joining SCEC as Coordinator in 2017, she worked at national and global organisations including the Australian Marine Conservation Society and Greenpeace Australia Pacific. Jacki now holds a senior position with the Nature Conservation Council of NSW.
She has a long history in communications, fundraising and digital campaigning and has mobilised hundreds of thousands of people to take action for the environment.
She has been lucky to work on some of the biggest environmental campaigns in Australia including the fight to save the Great Barrier Reef from the Adani mine.
Some of her proudest achievements have been helping to secure the world's largest network of marine parks in Australia, and getting Australia's biggest bank - CommBank - to stop investing in dirty coal.
She has an Honours degree in marine science and (nearly) a Masters degree in conservation biology.
Jacki is proud to remain involved with such a long-standing and critical organisation like SCEC, and is determined to help protect the incredible Sunshine Coast.
