Namba Creek BushCare Action Bee - October 21

Here's a part of the planned action this coming Saturday morning starting at 7am at Namba Creek.
We'll give the plants in this recently planted Ecollaboration/School planting some water to help them through the continuing dry spell. We'll be doing similar watering for the ones in our "wetlands" area near the gate of the Model Rail Park gate, as well as adding some native plants and removing some weeds that seem to like the dry weather. Plus some roving action through the site. All in the name of habitat creation for native animals.
If you'd like to join in the satisfaction of helping, come in "long everything" bush protective clothing including boots/shoes and a hat.
We'll have all the tools needed, but bring your own favourites if you wish.
Access is to come through the main gate to the Model Railway Park, off Florence St Nambour and you'll see us assembling.
And as if that's not enough fun, we'll assemble at about 9am for the ritual of the Cuppa. Always a good part.
