SCEC would like to thank all the people and organisations that came along on the Halls Creek Community Cruise on the morning to the 18th of August. Afterall Mark McArdle and Andrew Powell have repeatedly stated that they want to hear from the community so it is beholden on us, community groups on the Sunshine Coast, to make sure the community responds.

Halls Creek Posters

SCEC has produced four posters that provide an overview of key issues in the Halls Creek debate focusing on: the history of Halls Creek, future development on the SC, Pumicestone Passage and Issues to be considered. Halls Creek Forum Report

The Halls Creek Community Forum took place on the 3rd of July. The forum, organised by SCEC, OSCAR, the Caloundra Chamber of Commerce and the Glass House Country Chamber of Commerce, brought together state and local politicians with planning and environmental experts offering an opportunity for the community to find out more about the Halls Creek issue and to ask questions of experts and decision makers.
