This workshop will facilitate a discussion on building drought resilience within the South East Queensland region. As an open forum we will discuss the issues, future stresses and possible mitigation strategies of drought within the region, specifically Logan.
The Regional Drought Resilience Planning (RDRP) program is an initiative jointly funded through the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund and the Queensland Government.
The key objective of the program is to develop Regional Drought Resilience Plans for each region in Queensland to prepare for and manage future drought risks.
To view more information and the first five regions from Round 1 in Queensland, please visit the RDRP QLD website.
