Join us for a hands-on family workshop in the Maple St Community Garden. We will be exploring the hidden world of backyard wildlife, beginning by looking at the many ways a garden can offer shelter — from rock piles and log stacks to leaf litter and water dishes — and why creating habitat matters for the broader ecology of our local environment.

Then we roll up our sleeves and learn how to build one ourselves! Together we will create our own native bee hotel and see how to build a box for a sugar glider or a phascogale. A wonderful opportunity for children and adults alike to connect with nature and leave with something real to show for it. Bookings here.
