The Northern Inter-Urban Break (NIUB) is the vital stretch of green space separating the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay regions. It is more than a line on a map — it is a living landscape that:

Preserves the unique identity of both regions
Supports wildlife and natural ecosystems
Shields the Pumicestone Passage, one of South East Queensland’s most precious natural assets
Provides essential agricultural land, recreation areas, and visual green relief

But today, this irreplaceable buffer is under serious threat from inappropriate developments
Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
