The John Sinclair Memorial Lecture 2024 – Guest Speaker Bob Brown

This year's lecture honours Dr. John Sinclair AO's outstanding contribution to conservation, featuring renowned environmentalist Dr. Bob Brown. Titled "Saving life on Earth will take civil insurrection," the lecture addresses the urgent need for action against climate change and environmental degradation. Dr. Brown will discuss the latest science on massive storms, sea level rise, fires, and extinction, emphasizing the need for a peaceful revolt against the prevailing growth economics. Drawing on Cree wisdom, he will highlight why saving the planet is everyone's responsibility and how we can take action while having fun along the way.
