Venue: The Little Red Cottage, 20 Coral St, Maleny - Jinibara Country. 

Embark on a profound journey with the Bunya Warrior Yarning Circle Series, a cornerstone of the Beyond Bunya Dieback program. Join us for four enlightening sessions, each weaving a unique narrative that brings us closer to the heart of Bunya Country.

Session Titles:

  1. Bonyi Warriors - Tap Rooted in Tradition: Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of the Bonyi Warriors team, exploring the tap roots that anchor their traditions to Bunya Country. Learn how you can join the Bonyi Warriors.  (Wednesday 28th February 2024 - 5.30 - 7.30pm) YOU ARE BOOKING INTO THIS SESSION
  2. Navigating Threats to Bunya and Bunya Country: Understand the challenges faced by Bunya trees and their ecosystems, navigating through the threats that demand our attention and collaborative efforts. (Saturday 2nd March 2024 - 10.00am - 12 noon)
  3. Preserving Bunya Country: Explore treatment options for Bunya Dieback, contributing to the preservation of Bunya Country through discussions on innovative and sustainable conservation practices. (Saturday 9th March 2024 - 10.00am - 12 noon)
  4. Bunya Futures - Looking Forward Culturally and Ecologically: Peer into the future with a culturally and ecologically focused session, envisioning the prospects of Bunya Country and its people. (Wednesday 13th March  2024 - 5.30 - 7.30pm)

How to Participate:

You can register for 1 or all four of the sessions. Limited spaces of 20 people for each session. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with First Nations wisdom, foster collaboration, and contribute to the cultural and ecological resilience of Bunya Country.
