Australian Government Department of Education

  • They provide online classroom-ready, sustainability education resources. They include case studies on creating change and information on linking resources back to the curriculum.

Queensland Government Education

  • They provide information and a central hub for all Queensland schools with sustainability resources.
  • They have climate-ready school guides, and steps to create a SEMP (Sustainable Environment Management Plan).
  • They offer competitions, scholarships, awards and grant opportunities to schools.

Eco-Schools

  • Eco-Schools is a school-based sustainability education framework based in Denmark and operating internationally.
  • It is a curriculum-linked, democratic and participatory program that provides opportunities for students to experience active citizenship within their schools.

Queensland Government Education

  • The Queensland Government have collated/ organised resources with a variety of topics within the environment. CSIRO Sustainable Futures provide free educational resources and professional development to support teaching sustainability and climate science. Cool Australia or CooLorg provides a range of curriculum-linked resources for years prep to 10, registration is required to access content.

ABC Education

  • ABC Education has a variety of programs and podcasts related to sustainability, climate change etc.

Conservation and Sustainability activity book

  • The Queensland Government has a variety of activities kids can do to inspire them to work in STEM. Activities include mazes, colouring in, word searches, connecting the dots and many more.
