Ecoflicks is on again in 2014

It’s on again! The popular ecoflicks environmental film festival launched itself into the new year with a special screening at the Outrigger Theatrette in Noosa recently.   ecoflicks is a Noosa Integrated Catchment Association (NICA) initiative about “People with Passion Sharing a Vision”. It is a festival for the celebration of creative talent, with the vision to inspire environmental stewardship. Through short films, budding filmmakers captivate, inspire and enthuse viewers. Noosa on Weyba- decision time

  The beauty of Lake Weyba, the high conservation & cultural values of its surrounding environment must be protected from development The Sunshine Coast Council will consider the Noosa on Weyba development at its Ordinary Meeting on 30 Jan Over 900 submissions were received objecting to the proposal and now Council officers have made the sound  recommendation for refusal on a raft of grounds.
