EcoMinds Certificate Workshop

Caring deeply about the environment can be rewarding, inspiring and empowering, but it can also be exhausting. For those working, volunteering or actively involved in conservation and environmental advocacy, the ongoing scale and urgency of the climate and biodiversity crises can take a toll on our mental health and wellbeing.
That’s why SCEC is partnering with ECOMIND to bring the ECOMIND Certificate: Climate Mental Health & Wellbeing Training to the Sunshine Coast.
Join us on Thursday 19th November, from 9.30am–4.30pm, for a day focused on building the knowledge, skills and resilience needed to care for ourselves, each other and the planet in a more sustainable way.
The workshop is open to anyone involved in or passionate about conservation and caring for our environment, including conservation professionals, volunteers, community members, activists and those involved in local environmental groups.
Through engaging sessions, we’ll explore the impacts of climate and environmental challenges on our wellbeing, practical ways to look after ourselves and others, and how we can stay engaged and effective without burning out.
Because caring for the planet is a long-term commitment. We need sustainable people as well as sustainable solutions.
