KOAL is a powerful performance blending clowning, physical theatre and documentary storytelling to explore what it means to protect Country, home and community in a time of climate crisis. Created and performed by Jacinta Yelland, it weaves stories after the 2019 Australian bushfires of a koala, a coal miner and an Indigenous girl’s forced removal. Fresh from acclaimed seasons nationally and internationally, KOAL invites audiences to reflect on resilience, truth‑telling and our shared responsibility to care for Country and future generations.
